At Gracefully Made Etiquette, our mission is to nurture children and teens, in the art of social grace, confident communication, and respectful leadership. We provide enriching experiences that enhance personal character, strengthen self-awareness, and refine everyday behavior—helping each young person grow into a poised, purposeful, and polished version of themselves.

Selena Venson McDonald is the founder of Gracefully Made Etiquette Consultancy, a faith-based program dedicated to helping children and teens grow into confident, respectful, and well-rounded young individuals.
As a certified etiquette instructor and consultant, she is deeply passionate about nurturing young people through positive guidance, purposeful instruction, and age-appropriate life skills. With many years of experience working in schools and youth programs, she has witnessed firsthand how children flourish when taught to lead with confidence and treat others with kindness.
Her training includes studies at the Barbizon School of Modeling, Bauder Fashion College, and the American School of Protocol. These experiences, combined with her deep-rooted faith, provide the foundation for her well-rounded approach to poise, personal presentation, and professional etiquette.
Originally from Hartsville, South Carolina, and now based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Selena brings purpose, cultural awareness, and spiritual grounding to every workshop she leads. At Gracefully Made, students learn far more than how to sit properly or shake hands—they are taught how to walk through the world with confidence, courtesy, and character.

Whether helping a shy child introduce themselves with confidence or preparing a teenager for their first job interview, Selena believes etiquette is more than good manners—it is a powerful life skill rooted in faith, respect, and integrity.

This is a 2-hour, introductory etiquette workshop designed to help girls and boys ages 6–11 and 12-17 build confidence, polish their manners, and learn the art of social grace. From proper greetings and respectful communication to table manners and dining etiquette, your child will gain the foundational skills needed to carry themselves with poise in any setting.
Cost per student: $60
The Confidently You Cotillion Program is an advanced, 8-week experience designed to prepare youth ages 12–17 for a lifetime of confidence, class, and character. Building on the foundation of etiquette, this program focuses on personal presentation, leadership, refined social skills, and formal protocols. Participants will receive guided instruction in ballroom dance, fine dining etiquette, public speaking, posture, and polished presence.
The series concludes with an elegant formal gala, where students demonstrate what they’ve learned in a beautiful, family-celebrated event filled with grace, tradition, and celebration.
